PAPER 1 ANALYSIS 3 JANUARY 2026 SHIFT 2 UGC NET JRF PAPER ONE LEARN ECOMAGIC WITH ARIF SHIBLI

UGC NET Paper 1 Exam Analysis: 3 January 2026 (Shift 2) Overall Difficulty Level: Moderate The second shift of the January 3rd exam was a balanced mix of traditional favorites and a few surprising new topics. While Reading Comprehension and Communication remained scoring areas, Data Interpretation and certain Higher Education topics required a deeper conceptual understanding. Unit-Wise Breakdown & Topics Asked 1. Teaching Aptitude (Moderate) Key Topics: Gagne's Model of Learning (Specific focus), NCFT 2009 (National Curriculum Framework for Teacher Education), NCTE Norms, and Levels of Teaching (Reflective vs. Memory). Trend: Shifted slightly towards teacher education frameworks. 2. Research Aptitude (Moderate) Key Topics: Scales of Measurement (Nominal, Ordinal, Interval, Ratio), Research Validity (Internal/External), Null Hypothesis testing, and Sampling Techniques. Trend: Scales of measurement have become a high-frequency repeating topic. 3. Reading Comprehension (Easy) Topic: The passage was based on Relationships/Human Attachment. Trend: Direct questions that could be solved quickly to save time for DI. 4. Communication (Easy) Key Topics: Barriers to Communication (Psychological/Physical), Classroom Communication dynamics, and basic Communication Models. 5. Mathematical Reasoning & Aptitude (Moderate) Key Topics: Number Series, Coding-Decoding, Percentage, Profit & Loss, and Averages. 6. Logical Reasoning (Moderate) Key Topics: Indian Logic (Pramanas), Hetvabhasa (Fallacies), and Square of Opposition. Trend: Consistent with previous shifts; focus remains on Indian Logic. 7. Data Interpretation (Moderate - Time Consuming) Topic: Table-based DI involving Percentages and Ratios. Note: Students reported that "Total" values were missing, requiring extra calculation steps. 8. ICT (Easy to Moderate) Key Topics: Computer Hardware vs. Software, Cyber Theft & Hacking, Malware/Viruses, and General Abbreviations. 9. People, Development & Environment (Moderate to Tough) Key Topics: Noise Pollution Levels (Chronological order), Climate Change Protocols (Paris/Kyoto), and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Trend: Fact-heavy questions regarding pollution levels and years of protocols. 10. Higher Education System (Moderate) Key Topics: NEP 2020 (Multiple Entry/Exit), Macaulay’s Minute (1835), SWAYAM Coordinators, and Ancient Universities. Quick Strategy for Upcoming Aspirants: Don't Skip NEP 2020: It is appearing in almost every shift. Focus on Indian Logic: Specifically Hetvabhasa and Pramanas. Master Measurement Scales: Revise N.O.I.R (Nominal, Ordinal, Interval, Ratio) as it is being repeated frequently. Time Management: Solve RC, ICT, and Communication first to buffer time for a potentially lengthy DI section. Must-Do: Revise Indian Logic and Qualitative Research as they have appeared in almost every shift so far. 🔔 Subscribe to Learn EcoMagic for more JRF-focused strategies, Paper 1 analysis, and Economics core concepts! #UGCNET #Paper1Analysis #UGCNet2026 #LearnEcoMagic #JRF2026 #ExamReview #NTAUGCNET #Shift2Analysis #HigherEducation #TeachingAptitude #UGCNET2025 #UGCNETAnalysis #Paper1Review #UGCNETTodayExam #NTAUGCNET #JRF2025 #ExamAnalysis #TeachingAptitude #HigherEducation Primary Tags (The "Must-Haves") #UGCNET2025 #UGCNETAnalysis #UGCNETExamAnalysis #Paper1Analysis #NTANET2025 #UGCNETReview #JRF2025 #UGCNETDecember2025 #UGCNET31Dec #UGCNETShift1 #TodayExamAnalysis #UGCNETTodayPaper #UGCNETLiveAnalysis #Shift1Review #31DecShift1 #TeachingAptitude #ResearchAptitude #HigherEducation #NEP2020 #LogicalReasoning #DataInterpretation #ICT #PeopleAndEnvironment #IndianLogic #ResearchEthics #UGC_NET_Preparation #JRFStrategy #AssistantProfessor #NetExamReview #UGC_NET_Adda #TestbookUGCNet #ByjusExamPrep #UnacademyUGCNET #MissionJRF #HowToCrackUGCNET #UGCNETPaper1Questions #MemoryBasedQuestions #UGCNETExpectedCutoff #NTAUpdate #NETExamLatestNews
