Conserving oxygen ‘important’ on board missing submersible

Former Navy commander Frank Owen highlights how the crew on board the missing OceanGate submersible can ration the remaining oxygen on board. “The advice of the French diver would be really significant because he would understand better than anybody how important it is to conserve your oxygen, and to minimise the amount the amount of carbon dioxide that they would breathe out,” Mr Owen told Sky News Australia. “They would do that, if they can, by sleeping, resting, reducing their heartrates, meditating.”
