Being able to mountain bike anywhere, anytime really does give a sense of freedom, but when it does go horribly wrong what do you do? This situation occurred so quickly and was completely unforeseen. That said I cannot stress the importance of riding with people when you can and as a bare minimum a helmet. When it did escalate it was amazing to see that all the people riding within the group did something. So a huge thank you for the support. I know it meant a lot to Paul. Paul has given his permission for this to be aired, and please understand that I cut lots of bits out purely as I wanted to make this edit to demonstrate how quickly it can go wrong, but just how good the group were and NHS support. After all there are the people we rely on when needed. My FaceBook Group (MTB Fanatics) / 24759. .
