Massive Timber Framing Project with Alaskan Chainsaw Mill – Sill Beam Cut and Setup

In this video, I continue my timber framing journey by cutting and preparing the sill beams for my timber frame project. I brought the timber back to the shop, squared the edges with my Alaskan chainsaw mill, and created mortise and tenon joints for the sill plates. Timber framing is a labor-intensive process, but it’s rewarding to shape each beam by hand and see the results come together. Stay tuned for more updates as I work through this project.
