Tennessee Mudge Cornbread

When we went to the National Cornbread Festival a few weeks ago, we tried out 9 different cornbread recipes. Steve’s favorite was Tennessee Mud Cornbread. I used that recipe as inspiration to create something a little different. My recipe uses less chocolate chips, more marshmallows, I leave out the pecans, but I added peanut butter cups, and I use buttermilk cornmeal mix instead of plain cornmeal. It turned out drool-worthy! I made this for Steve’s birthday and it was a success.
