President-elect Joe Biden is back on the campaign trail after the electoral college affirmed his victory. Mr Biden is headed to the Whitehouse in 36 days but has stopped first in Georgia in an effort to help Democrats win control of the US senate. “The lives of every Georgian still depend on what you’re doing,” Mr Biden said to an audience at a drive-in rally. "Yes, you still need to vote as if your life depends on it because it does.” The state is holding two Senate runoff races on January 25, the outcome of which will shape the ambitions of Biden’s agenda and help to determine the early success of his presidency.
