The main event features Scott Hall taking on Sid Vicious, however Kevin Nash finds out that he didn't receive his manager license. Nash instead decides to become Scott Hall's promoter, leading to a Vince McMahon parody on Nitro that runs throughout the entire show. Dean Malenko takes on Chris Benoit in a Steel Cage match, Berlyn takes on Vampiro, and Vince Russo books his first WCW pole match when Eddie Guerrero faces Perry Saturn. The WWF are on the road to Survivor Series 1999 and we hear from a superstar who's going to debut at the pay per view; Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle Chyna.
