Max the dog has one big tail, It wags so fast, it makes a gale! It knocks down socks and spins a shoe, And paints the air with waggy "woo!" He wags when happy, wags when glad, He wags so much, he shakes his dad! He wags at cats, he wags at bees, He even wags at talking trees! One day he wagged so wild and wide, He sent his bowl out on a ride! His tail went zoom, his ears went flap— And Max spun circles in a nap! But Max is loved, wild tail and all, He’s first to fetch and last to fall. And when he sleeps, so snug and still, His waggy dreams bring waggy thrills!
