Clemens Krauss is best known for his iconic live Wagner Ring from Bayreuth in 1953, and after that for his conducting of music by all the Strausses that you you can name: Richard, first and foremost, but also the Johanns. This 16-CD set contains all of his Decca recordings, captured in decent mono sonics between 1947-54. Have a look, check out some of the detailed reviews of these performances over at ClassicToday.com, and if you like what you see and hear, go for it.
