Trace is an Ability introduced in Generation III...

Here is a quick highlight from my Pokémon X Hardcore Nuzlocke where I only use Fairy-type Pokémon! The full video where I got this clip from can be found here:    • Pokémon X Hardcore Nuzlocke - Fairy Types ...   What makes this a "hardcore" nuzlocke run? -You can only catch the first Pokémon you encounter in each area. -You have to give nicknames to further the emotional bond. -If one of your Pokémon faints... it's gone forever. -We are playing on "set" mode. -No items are allowed in battle (the only exception is held items). -Our Pokémon's levels need to be the same level or lower than the highest leveled Pokémon in each gym and the Elite Four’s Champion. (For example: Viola's Vivillon is level 12, so our team cannot be any higher than level 12 prior to starting this battle)! --- All credit goes to the original creators of the various items found in the thumbnail!
