Who are the Lefebvrians?
Its history begins in 1969 when French bishop Marcel Lefebvre founded the Society of Saint Pius X, popularly known as the "Lefebvrians." It is a traditionalist association of priests that questions the obligation to accept certain points of the Second Vatican Council, especially liturgical reform and ecumenism.
