Bayek heads to the tomb of Akhenaten and investigates the lead given to him by High Priestess Isidora. There he finds out that he once held a Piece of Eden, and finds a portal to the Aten. If the former Medjay is to further reduce the effect of the curse, Akhenaten must be laid to rest. Key terms Aten: the sun disk god elevated by Akhenaten offered a different afterlife: a return to the Aten’s life-giving essence, a reunion with its light, rather than the traditional journey through the underworld (Duat) to Osiris’s court.
