South African Shiite Islamic Scholar: Soleimani, Al-Muhandis, Mughniyeh’s Souls Will Testify for Us
On January 1, 2021, South African Shiite Scholar Maulana Aref Rezaei dedicated his Friday sermon delivered virtually, at the Ahlulbait Mosque Complex in Cape Town, to the anniversary of IRGC Qods Force commander General Qasem Soleimani’s assassination. He said that while Soleimani is not physically “with us,” his soul, and those of PMU deputy commander Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis and Hizbullah Chief-of-Staff Imad Mughniyeh will always testify on behalf of “us.” He detailed the rewards given by Allah and the angels to anyone who sets out on Jihad and falls in the battlefield.
