Hey everyone! we are back with another episode. hope you all enjoy! What is a Soul Link? A Soul Link is a 2-Player Co-Op Challenge Mode for Pokémon games, created by TheKingNappy and Shadypenguinn. In the LP, both players must play together under certain restrictions for an added challenge to the conventional Nuzlocke LP a single player would undergo. Rules of the Soul Link 1. Standard Nuzlocke Rules apply 2. Each player takes a turn of encountering a Pokémon first in a given area. The second player getting an encounter must find a Pokémon that has the opposite gender of the Pokémon the first player encountered and a different type (Genderless Pokémon count as either male or female)(Species or Dupes clause can be used to re-encounter) 3. If a player fails to catch or kills their encounter, the other player must forfeit their encounter by killing or releasing their encounter 5. If one Pokémon in a Soul Link pair dies, the partner Pokémon is also classed as dead 6. You may only have one Pokémon of its primary typing on your team at a time. (Eg. If you have a Mismagius, neither you or your partner can have a Ghost type on your team until that Mismagius is no longer in the team) In other words, Pokémon pairs must remain unique on the team. Secondary typings does not count. 7. Static encounters and Gift Pokémon can ignore gender and type rules, because it cannot be helped which Pokémon they will turn out to become. However, if both Pokémon have same typing, they can both be classed as one type and used together, except if they're the same Pokémon 8. The LP is over when both players have whited/blacked out and have no usable Pokémon on their team.
