Water Mela Festival 2023 in Auroville
On the occasion of the International Water day, Auroville organized a 3-days water mela (festival) that culminated in the afternoon-evening of March 2023 with speeches, children plays in water, folk dances, water ceremonies, songs, dinner and a final bonfire. These small excerpts are a short documentation of the event, in Auroville's International zone, in the proximity of two natural ponds created by rainwater, 22 March 2023
