'Love Jihad Nahi, Jahaaz Hai': Actor Nakuul Mehta's Powerful Rendition From 'Poems For Democracy'

"Hum to nafrati zamaane ki fariyaad lekar pahunche the, humare kambakht shahenshah mohabbat par hi kanoon laga baithe." Actor Nakuul Mehta recited a powerful rendition of writer/director Ajay Singh's poem ‘Love Jahaaz’. The poem is one of Ajay's topical series ‘Poems For Democracy.’ The poem comes at a time when the states are bringing strict laws against ‘Love Jihad’ and criminalising inter-faith marriages.
