The game will be released worldwide in 2017. I Played the pc version. The storyline follows Aloy, an archer and hunter from a robot-infested world. She has been locked away her entire life and goes out to learn about the threats that hid her away. The protagonist utilizes ranged, close-combat weapons and stealth attacks to fight the mechanized animals, whose corpses can also be plundered for materials. A skill tree is used to enhance gameplay. The game includes an open-world environment for Aloy to explore, separated into tribes containing side quests to complete while the main storyline takes her through the entire world.
