Union Home Minister Amit Shah on August 01 spoke on the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (Amendment) Bill and said that the House has the power to bring any law regarding the state of Delhi. He also affirmed that all the objections being made are political. The Government of NCT of Delhi (Amendment) Bill, 2023, seeks to replace the ordinance brought by the Centre in May which excluded ‘services’ from the legislative competence of the Delhi legislative assembly.
