Add ginger garlic paste and fry for a minute. Add meat and cook until it changes color. Now add red chili powder, turmeric, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt. Mix well. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they soften and oil separates. Add yogurt and cook for another 5 minutes until the gravy thickens. Pour in 2 cups of water, cover, and cook until the meat is tender (pressure cook for about 15–20 minutes). Once the meat is done, add turnip cubes and cook until soft and well mixed with the gravy. Sprinkle garam masala and garnish with chopped coriander and green chilies. Serve hot with naan, roti, or rice. 🟧 Shaljam Gosht Recipe (in Roman Urdu) Ajza: Mutton ya Beef – ½ kilo Shaljam – 3 ya 4 medium (chil kar tukray kar lein) Pyaz – 2 medium (bareek kaat lein) Tamatar – 2 medium (kaate hue) Adrak lehsan paste – 1 chamach Dahi – ½ cup Lal mirch powder – 1 chamach Haldi – ½ chamach Dhania powder – 1 chamach Zeera powder – ½ chamach Garam masala – ½ chamach Namak – zaroorat ke mutabiq Tel – ½ cup Hara dhania – sajawat ke liye Hari mirch – 2 ya 3 (chaahein to daal lein) Tariqa: Dekchi mein tel garam karein aur pyaz golden brown hone tak bhunein. Ab adrak lehsan paste daal kar aik minute tak bhun lein. Gosht daal kar achhi tarah bhunein jab tak rang tabdeel ho jaye. Ab lal mirch, haldi, dhania, zeera powder aur namak daal kar mix karein. Tamatar daal kar pakayein jab tak naram ho jayein aur tel alag ho jaye. Ab dahi daal kar 5 minute tak pakayein jab tak masala gadhha ho jaye. 2 cup pani daal kar dhak dein aur gosht ko narm hone tak pakayein (pressure cooker mein 15–20 minute). Jab gosht tayyar ho jaye to shaljam ke tukray daal kar narm hone tak pakayein. Garam masala chhidak kar hara dhania aur hari mirch se sajayein. Garam garam naan, roti ya chawal ke sath serve karein.
