Written & translated by: Debbie Won Korea’s jobless rate has been getting worse every year, with more than 1 million people reported to be unemployed in the 3rd quarter of 2018. And the unemployment rate of young Koreans between the ages of 15 and 29 was reported to be 9.4% in the July-Sept. period, the highest since 1999. These numbers clearly show that it's extremely tough to get into the job market these days, even for well-educated college graduates here in Korea. To get some personal insights on this matter, we met with a group of recent college graduates who’ve managed to BREAK INTO the tough job market & land their jobs in Korea.
