This is a deeply spiritual and theological subject. Unlike Surah Lahab (which is about a person) or Ma'un (which is about actions), Surah Al-Ikhlas is pure theology—it is the definition of God Himself. The Context of Surah Al-Ikhlas: The background is fascinating. Various groups (pagans of Quraysh, and according to some narrations, Jewish rabbis or Christians) came to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and questioned the nature of Allah. They tried to understand God in human or material terms. They asked questions like: "Describe your Lord’s lineage for us." (Who is His father/son?) "Is He made of gold? Is He made of silver?" "Has He inherited the world from someone, or will someone inherit it from Him?" In response to these materialistic and anthropomorphic questions, Allah revealed this Surah to declare His absolute Oneness (Tawhid), His eternal self-sufficiency (As-Samad), and His complete lack of likeness to anything in creation #surahikhlas #quran #tawheed #inspiration #quranstories
