Kingdom Hearts Re:coded [DS] Playthrough #41, Castle Oblivion: Olympus Coliseum

This is video #41 in my playthrough of Kingdom Hearts Re:coded for the Nintendo DS. Kingdom Hearts Re:coded Playlist:    • Kingdom Hearts Re:coded [DS] Playthrough   Previously, Data-Sora continued getting entangled in Castle Oblivion's illusions. Now, he will continue with the Olympus Coliseum card-world. Approaching the door, he chooses the Olympus Coliseum card (time 0:20). As he arrives, he eavesdrops on Hades plotting. A rare prize block in the southwest contains a Thunder +4 stat chip (time 1:18). A rare prize block in the northeast contains an Aero +4 (time 1:44). Upon installing it, he activates his second Finishing Plus ability to the right of CPU 8. His Finishing Plus is now maxed out at Level 2. First, he will work on the W4 Normal Card. This involves doing well at most challenges but underperforming at one. He starts by talking to Hercules in the north (time 2:19). Before Herc will let Sora help out, he will give Sora a test. Sora will have to defeat a certain number of Shadows within 30 seconds (time 3:58). For the normal card, Sora must defeat between 20 and 30 Shadows ... but not more than 30. Then, Sora talks to Cloud (time 5:02). Before Cloud helps out, he will also issue a couple of tests. First, Sora will have 30 seconds to defeat all the Heartless (time 5:59). They are two Wizards and a Large Body. Then, Sora is instructed to defeat the hostile enemy within 20 seconds (time 6:21). Defeating any others will result in a time penalty. However, nuking them all with Mega Flare works nicely. Finally, Sora approaches Hades (time 7:02). Hades will summon a bunch of nasty Heartless to take Sora out (time 7:34). There are Wizards, Angel Stars, and Invisibles. A timer runs for this battle. Afterwards, Hercules and Cloud talk to Sora (time 8:33). Then, Sora earns the W4 Normal Card. Another scene occurs out in the Entrance Hall (time 9:05). The hood reveals the trap he believes Sora fell into. We'll just see about that. Sora goes back into the Olympus Coliseum card-world (time 10:57). Now, he will work on the W4 Alternate Card. This requires Sora to fail at Hercules and Cloud's challenges. First, Sora talks to Hercules to begin his trial (time 11:23). To flop Hercules's trial, Sora can just run around until time runs out (time 13:01). Herc will clearly be disappointed, but he decides to let Sora help out, anyway. Then, Sora talks to Cloud to begin his trial (time 14:03). Again, Sora can flop both challenges easily by running around the exterior until time runs out. Despite Sora's poor performance, Cloud will agree to lend a hand. What a guy. Sora approaches Hades (time 16:32). Waiting out his assault is not an option. During the battle, Sora gains a Level Up chip (time 17:45). A scene occurs after Sora repels Hades's assault (time 18:02). Cloud is a bit too nice here. Sora earns the W4 Alternate Card. Then, Sora returns to the Olympus Coliseum card-world once again (time 18:47). He will now work on the W4 Extra Card. He will have to do well in all the trials. He talks to Hercules (time 19:36). To pass with flying colors, Sora must defeat over 30 Heartless in 30 seconds (time 21:15). Herc will be suitably impressed, lol. Next, Sora talks to Cloud (time 22:19). For Cloud's first trial, Sora must defeat the 3 enemies in 30 seconds (time 23:15). Then, he will have to identify and defeat the hostile enemy within 20 seconds (time 23:44). Mega Flare also works. Finally, Sora approaches Hades (time 24:25). In Hades's challenge, Sora must defeat all the enemies in under a minute (time 24:57). Following the fight, Herc and Cloud will be impressed with Sora's performance (time 25:47). He earns the W4 Extra Card. Next time, Sora will continue through the Castle Oblivion card-worlds.
