Besigye narrates how he made it past police security to go to Sironko

The former Presidential Candidate of Forum for Democratic Change Dr. Kizza Besigye has told NTV that police he yesterday left his home in Kasangati at 6. 00 am when police officers were sleeping. He was responding to claims by police that he nocked a police officer who was deployed at one of his gates. The retired colonel further asserted that he will attend tomorrow’s Independence Celebrations at Katwe grounds. Police issued a statement on Thursday warning politicians against holding parallel celebrations.
