West Bengal Minister Partha Chatterjee was asked to appear before the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) by the Calcutta High Court, by this evening. He is appearing in the SSC Recruitment Scam case. This leaves no relief for Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. He is on his way to the CBI office in Kolkata. He was summoned a few weeks ago too, but he moved to the Division bench, which put a stay on the HC order back then. This time around, the bench did not give him any relief, and Partha is now forced to appear before CBI.
