How to use Organic Keratin Hair Treatment (Straightening) Step 1: Wash the hair thoroughly with Naturia Professional Clarifying Shampoo to remove impurities, and repeat the process if needed, especially for virgin and color treated hair. Step 2: Towel dry hair till 80% dry to begin the application process. Water on hair helps to maximize the nourishing process. Step 3: Start applying Naturia Organic Keratin (straightening) on hair in dabs, from end to roots making sure that you stay away about 1cm away from the scalp as it irritates the scalp. (To prevent scalp irritation, apply the TeaTree tonic before application as shown in the video above) Step 4: Massage the treated section of the hair with your fingers in a downwards motion. Then use a fine tooth comb to remove excess of treatment and make sure that the treatment is evening distributed. Continue with the next section until the entire head is complete. Step 5: Blow dry hair 100% with low to medium temperature. (Important note: the use of high temperature will cause premature product activation and nutritive ingredients to dry before full penetration of the treatment onto the hair.) Step 6: Divide hair in many sections as wanted to being the flat ironing step. Step 7: Set the waterproof hair iron to 180 degrees and proceed to flat iron the hair 2 - 6 times per section depending on hair thickness and condition. Start from the nape and finish with the sides. Step 8: Do it once more with thicker sections at 140 degrees. Post-treatment: Ask your customers to wait three days before washing their hair.
