Mariners fans stay hopeful despite tough 13-4 loss to Blue Jays in ALCS Game 3

Mariners fans flocked out of T-Mobile Park on Wednesday night without the Game 3 result they were looking for. The M's fell 13-4 against the Toronto Blue Jays in the first American League Championship Series (ALCS) game in Seattle, after winning two games on the road in Toronto. An early 2-0 lead for the Mariners quickly turned sour in the third inning when the Blue Jays took the lead 5-2. “I think they just saw Kirby the second time through the lineup. They started seeing it, they started hitting it well, and we couldn’t come back," said Rocco Vega, a Mariners fan. While it was pretty clear early on that Toronto would be taking Game 3, Mariners fans were overwhelmingly positive while leaving T-Mobile Park on Wednesday. The Mariners' back-to-back home runs in the 8th inning may have helped serve as a reminder that there's still more October baseball to be played. -------------------------------------------------- For more on the story: https://komonews.com/news/local/seatt... #mariners #seattlemariners #tmobilepark #alcs #bluejays #toronto _______________ Stay up to date with our social media: KOMO News on Facebook:   / komonews   KOMO News on Twitter:   / komonews   KOMO News on Instagram:   / komo4   KOMO News on TikTok:   / komo4seattle   Subscribe to KOMO on YouTube:    / @komonews   Watch more top local news stories:    • Video   For all of the day’s top local and national news, visit http://www.komonews.com/ Watch our live newscasts and other live video at https://komonews.com/watch Download our iOS App: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/komo-...
