Cara Mia Turret Opera - ClarQuar

Cara Mia Addio is a great opera, and it's well-performed in Portal 2. I was more fascinated with the light, staccato-style quartet at the beginning, so I tried to emulate that as well as I could. I had plenty of issues in the later half, with overdriving and poor mixing, but the piece as a whole is pretty solid. I do not own the song; this rendition was composed by Valve composer Mike Morasky, performed by Ellen McLain, and featured in Valve's Portal 2, none of which I own/am affiliated with. Recorded in three tracks (plus one partial) using Audacity for Windows. The instrument is a wooden Buffet A Paris Bb clarinet, with a B45 mouthpiece and a 2 1/2 Fibrocell plastic reed.
