That Captain Starshield was the number one-ranked gladiator before Ace Hardlight killed him. Ace has killed thirteen straight contestants in the regular season of Dreadzone. Eleven hours ago, aboard the Starship Phoenix, Ratchet was the captain of the ship before Gleeman Vox's men kidnapped him and Clank. He runs the underground media empire from the Shadow Sector. It's a lawless region of space on the fringe of the galaxy. Other heroes might have faced the same fight as Captain Starshield. Present time, in an uncertain location, Ratchet wakes up in an armor suit with a strap collar. Al is there to ensure Ratchet is ready for the qualification rounds. Clank guides Ratchet through the steps he needs to take to progress. Vox tells Ratchet what he is going through. Can Ratchet make it out alive and win his freedom from the Dreadzone completion?
