Why do people hate ripjaws so much? He’s one of my favorites from the original 10. His design is so unique and scary in a cool way, and he has one of the best voices in the show. I think Ripjaws got a bad reputation because he is at his most effective underwater, and there are only two episodes that are centered around water. We also got a waterpark and a beach episode, but ripjaws wasn’t used in a meaningful way. I think the writers didn’t want to keep finding underwater scenarios. Ripjaws isn’t even shown in season 3. Another part of Ben 10 that i usually love is when aliens are put in mismatched situations and have to work on their feet to defeat the villain. Like in permanent retirement the limax love heat, so heatblast has to find water to hurt them. Ripjaws can spend a long period of time out of the water if he’s in a cool moist environment. So naturally he is mostly used in desert scenarios. One time he was grafted on to a pyronite. His powers are so cool though, like he has strength, durability, sharp claws and teeth, he can swim real fast. His got that lure for extra light. I also feel like he suffers from the case of lame water guy. Like aquaman. When in reality, both characters are awesome, they are always at the fishy butt of a joke. Ripjaws they could never make me hate you.
