Gameplay Part 3 Resident Evil 7 biohazard is the next major entry in the renowned Resident Evil series and sets a new course for the franchise as it leverages its roots and opens the door to a truly terrifying horror experience. A dramatic new shift for the series to first person view in a photorealistic style powered by Capcom’s new RE Engine, Resident Evil 7 delivers an unprecedented level of immersion that brings the thrilling horror up close and personal. Set in modern day rural America and taking place after the dramatic events of Resident Evil® 6, players experience the terror directly from the first person perspective. Resident Evil 7 embodies the series’ signature gameplay elements of exploration and tense atmosphere that first coined “survival horror” some twenty years ago; meanwhile, a complete refresh of gameplay systems simultaneously propels the survival horror experience to the next level. In this playthrough we cover: Testing Area: To access Lucas’s Testing Area, Ethan must first locate the red and blue keycards hidden throughout the Main House and Yard. The blue keycard is found in the Kid’s Room, while the red keycard is hidden behind a trapdoor in the Party Room, accessible after defeating the mutated Marguerite in the Old House and solving a shadow puzzle. Once inside the Testing Area, Ethan is met with Lucas’s sadistic games, dodging explosive tripwires, navigating deadly puzzle rooms, and watching disturbing video messages designed to break him mentally. He eventually solves a VHS puzzle sequence involving a previous victim’s birthday party, which allows him to safely disarm a trap that would otherwise set the room on fire. After recovering the D-Series ingredients, Ethan returns to the trailer—only to find Mia and Zoe missing and receive a call from Lucas instructing him to come to the boathouse. Boathouse: Ethan rushes to the boathouse and is forced to use one of the two serum doses to kill a grotesquely mutated Jack Baker in a final boss fight, where Jack’s body fuses with bone-like tendrils and fleshy eyes. The battle is intense and multi-leveled, requiring Ethan to destroy the eyes growing all over Jack's massive form. After the fight, Ethan is left with a heartbreaking choice: cure either Mia or Zoe. Choosing Mia, Ethan and her escape via boat—only to be ambushed by a dark presence emerging from the water, knocking Ethan out and separating the two. Zoe, angry but resigned, accepts her fate. The encounter confirms that Jack was not in control of his actions, hinting at the power Eveline holds. Wrecked Ship (Part 1): Now playing as Mia, the game shifts to a derelict shipwreck in the swamp, where Mia searches for Ethan. Haunted by eerie visions and flashes of her past, she discovers the truth about Eveline—an engineered bioweapon—and how she was escorting her as part of a failed mission. Mia recovers a video log revealing Eveline’s descent into madness and how she infected the Baker family. After solving shipboard puzzles and surviving Molded attacks, Mia locates Ethan in a cocooned state and sets out to free him. The flashback sequence aboard the ship shows Mia and her partner trying—and failing—to contain Eveline, who begins manipulating their minds. Mia’s memories reveal how the infection began and the ship’s catastrophic crash into the bayou. The ship itself is a maze of rusted corridors and flickering lights, heightening the claustrophobic horror tone of this section. #residentevil #residentevil7 #residentevilbiohazard #horrorgaming #horror #actiongames #gaming #streaming Follow Me: Instagram: / rebeccalynpytell Gaming Instagram: / rebeccalyngaming Gaming TikTok: / rebeccalyngaming TikTok: / rebeccalynpytell Discord: / discord
