Toyota Corolla Cross - Qashqai Toyota Style (ENG) - Test Drive and Review
The Toyota Corolla Cross fils the gap between the C-HR and the RAV4. The C-HR, even if we put aside its bold looks, has some limitations when it comes to practicality. The RAV4, on the other hand, is perhaps too big and too expensive a car for some people. But a comparison with the regular Corolla also reveals interesting information. The Corolla Cross is between the hatchback and the station wagon in terms of length, has a wheelbase like the hatchback, is a couple of centimeters wider and, of course, taller than the regular Corolla. The 16-centimeter ground clearance is the same as in the C-HR, but the Corolla Cross is available with all-wheel drive, which disappeared from the C-HR along with the 1.2 L engine. Not only does the Corolla Cross have optional all-wheel drive (AWDi), it also has a 5th-generation hybrid powertrain, which is 14% lighter and 14% more powerful than the 4th generation hybrid powertrain.
