One In The Jungle 15th November 1996 Recorded Live at The Zebra Bar, Soho, London - Parousia Records Launch Party. DJ's Zinc, Hype & Ron with MC Navigator & MC GQ. BBC Radio 1 – One In The Jungle. 1 In The Jungle was Radio 1’s attempt to give the rapidly growing Jungle scene a home and a platform for this previously underground music genre. As the first commercial station to `highlight dj’s and producers, the show broke down many barriers and allowed the music to gain a new audience and following. The show was broadcast every Friday night 10-12pm. Artists would pre- record shows alongside their chosen MC, who would generally host the set, give out info and chat a little bit.
