FULL - 60103 'Flying Scotsman' 28 May 2016 - The Cathedrals Express

May 28 2016 would see LNER class A3 4-6-2 No. 60103 'Flying Scotsman' haul the Cathedrals Express from London to Salisbury and return. The trip went out via Newbury and Westbury and returned via Andover and Basingstoke. This was the same as the route the week previous. The weather this week was, however, much better! This lead to much better acoustics as shown by the very clear soundtrack up Upton Scudamore. The train is seen on the outward journey at Dilton Marsh and Upton Scudamore. In the evening the A3 is seen just before and after Andover station. Please note that the third shot IS taken from legal position.
