Aliya Vodovozova | Sicilienne (G. Fauré)
Gabriel Fauré wrote Sicilienne as an orchestral piece for a theatrical production in 1893. But the theatre went bankrupt and the music remained unperformed. 5 years later Fauré arranged it for cello and piano and 11 years later still for orchestra. Today flutist Aliya performs the piece.
