Marcus will teleport closer to the building if he doesn't get out of the car quickly enough before the cutscene starts. This strat saves about 10 seconds over doing it regularly. A more consistent way of doing the teleport is to knock the driver's side door off (for the Zusume R) with your handgun/stun gun and start the cutscene.
