UNEXPECTED SHUTDOWN of PTR by Blizzard! TBC Classic Twitch 👉 / toyhouze SUB ON YOUTUBE 👉 https://goo.gl/vfnWbv Click 👇 -PTR Down early – was supposed to last until Monday December 20th, but it’s already down as of Saturday December 18th, two days early, and no word exactly when it will come back, though it sounds like next week sometimes. -In other news there will be no pre-nerf Black Temple and Mount Hyjal raids – that’s right we’re going to be getting the post-nerf versions of the raids ONLY. -Patch 2.2 introduced a lot of these nerfs and I’m going to go through some of them, though keep in mind that Kaivax mentioned that since there weren’t many changes made to these raids during the original Burning Crusade, that is why they will be launched in their POST-nerf state right away. MOUNT HYJAL: The health of Jaina and Thrall have been increased. They should be able to absorb quite a bit more incidental damage during the event. . Archimonde's Red Soul Charge silence has been lowered in duration to 4 seconds FROM 6 SECONDS, and the death of the Priest with Spirit of Redemption will no longer create two Soul Charges. So what is Soul Charge? Whenever anyone dies, Archimonde gains a Soul Charge from the dead player. He can use the Soul Charge anytime after he gains it (it looks like the Troll Priest shadowguard ability). The effect of the Soul Charge use depends on the class that died. If a Priest, Mage, or Warlock dies, it will deal 4500 Fire damage and silence for 4 seconds. If a Warrior, Rogue, or Paladin dies, it will deal 4500 Physical damage and apply a 4 second 50% damage taken increase debuff. If a Druid, Shaman, or Hunter dies, it will deal 4500 Nature damage over 8 seconds, and drain 2250 Mana. So you can see if a priest dies and has spirit of redemption then that’s 9000 damage and 8 seconds worth of silence for the raid over the course of two soul charges, which can be ruin anyone’s day. So the post-nerf state if a priest dies it will only grant Archimonde one Soul Charge instead of 2. The casting time of Archimonde's fear has been increased to 1.5 seconds, and he should now use his Fear ability on a much more consistent interval. Pre-nerf it was really a seemingly random interval so you couldn’t anticipate it. Archimonde will also no longer cast Grip of the Legion on very far away targets. Grip of the legion is a curse that deals 2,500 damage every 2 seconds for 5 minutes, so druids/mages want to dispel that. Archimonde has received several adjustments and fixes to prevent some of the harder to counter combinations of his abilities for example: Archimonde will no longer cast Grip of the Legion on targets that have just been hit with Air Burst. So that combination could be deadly if you get hit with air burst which does 3,000 damage and knocks you high into the air, and then get grip of the legion on you, could be enough to kill you outright, especially since you need to worry about using tears of the goddess which slows your falling speed before you hit the ground and take even more damage. So, I mean all this and it sounds to me like pre-nerf is significantly harder than post-nerf. Even though maybe there weren’t A LOT of changes made, it sounds like some of these changes are pretty significant. Now let’s talk about the Black temple nerfs: Saber Lash tanks will no longer be knocked back by Sinister Beam or hit by Fatal Attraction, even if they dodge or parry the attack. So Saber Lash is a very frequent frontal cleave with 20 yard range that does about 30k damage to plate wearers, but it is divided between up to three targets. So imagine if you get Fatal Attraction put on you, which teleports you and deals shadow damage to you. Well then you’re not there to help soak the Saber Lash and that could cause the other two Saber Lash tanks to die. The same thing with the Sinister Beam – it knocks you up, out of range of the Saber Lash and you can’t soak it anymore. So this nerf makes it so that if saber lash was used on you (even if you dodge or parry), you’re immune to these abilities that could push you out of range of soaking the next saber lash. So seems like another big helpful nerf to me. Mother Shahraz will now pick a new beam to cast after every 3rd beam instead of after every 5th. This means she is much less likely to cast the same beam many times in a row. Some beams are stronger than others, Sinful Beam: 6938-8062 shadow damage Sinister Beam: ~3k shadow damage plus knockup for ~50% falling damage Vile Beam: ~3k shadow damage per tick over 8 seconds Wicked Beam: ~4k shadow damage plus 1000 mana burn So making the Mother Shahraz cast a new beam more frequently could help prevent getting really unlucky with the beams. Fatal Attraction now deals 750 damage on the first tick, 1500 on the second, 2250 on the third, and 3000 on all subsequent ticks. #tbc #wow #wowclassic phase 3 wow classic tbc tbc classic tbcc release date gold
