Parabolita (Salted Carmel) | Firestone Walker Brewing Company | Beer Review | #1572

In this review, I'm going to take a look at another beer from the Firestone Walker Brewing Company (‪@FirestoneWalker‬), and it's their Parabolita (Salted Caramel). This is an Imperial Stout that is aged in bourbon barrels, then infused with Madagascar vanilla beans, cocoa nibs and sea salt. Also, just to note, it's blended with their Velvet Merlin Milk Stout after the barrel aging process, but before being infused with the adjuncts. This sounds like a fun beer, so let's see if it is! Commercial Description: To create this first-ever canned Vintage beer, we aged a selection of Parabola for one year in premium bourbon barrels, then blended it with a complement of Velvet Merlin milk stout to create a silky mouthfeel and a more approachable ABV of 9.2 percent. Finally, we infused the beer with Madagascar vanilla beans, cocoa nibs and sea salt to achieve a full Salted Caramel-style drinking experience.
