As you navigate the starting hallway, there are cannons releasing flame jets moving on their lines. Pass by more flame jets on their lines and enter the door at the end of the hallway. Ride a set of snake blocks and you’ll find the 2nd Star Coin, but watch carefully where the snake block set goes. In addition, the lava will start to flow, so quickly enter the door the moment you reach the next landing. Pass the checkpoint and a clown car with the Koopalings will appear. If the eyes on the clown car start flashing, the whole area will flash, so be sure to get in front of a hard wall if the flashing happens. After crossing a few conveyor belts, stand on a donut platform to get the 3rd Star Coin. After pressing a P Switch, cross a few more conveyor belts and enter the twin doors. Pass the checkpoint and flames will start flying by. When Bowser leaps high, quickly run to get past him and press the red switch to drop the drawbridge, but the battle doesn’t end there. The Koopalings will cast magic to turn Bowser giant, and the lava will start to flow. Board the platforms to outrun the lava flow and watch where Bowser swings his arms, which will also destroy the platforms. After reaching a fixed platform, Bowser will unleash a blast of fire where flames will cover the floor for a short time, so be ready to jump. The lava will continue to flow, and more platforms will appear. In addition, statues on the walls will shoot flames. If the flames are purple, they will adjust height wherever you stand. Press the big switch to make Bowser fall through and Peach will be free from the cage.
