Mad Dog Ford XP Van - Carlton's

Here is our 1965 XP Falcon Van, known back in the day as Mad Dog. It was dragged out of a wrecking yard in '88. We managed to get it restored and registered the day before November '89 marriage. Weeks later it made its first Summernats appearance, Summernats 2. Greg built a 289-cube Windsor V8 with a 6/71 blower for the van. We sold the van in '96 to finance another project. After many years chasing our tail, in 2017 we finally make contact with the current owner via Facebook. With a bit of negotiating we headed to QLD the day after we got home from the Summernats to go bring her home. Once we got her home Greg tidied the old girl up and had her ready for Summernats 32, she has been in our shed ever since. Greg has been building cars for many years with the assistance of some great mates and family members, we decided that we would share these creations with the world. Thanks for Watching :)
