For those of you who have food allergies or intolerance or knows someone who does, understands how time consuming and stressful it can be when planning what to eat and of course where to eat when eating out. Food allergies is very serious and has become increasingly common, so more and more schools, restaurants and grocery stores are starting to play it safe. For example, prohibiting peanuts in kids' lunches and snacks in schools. Keeping it safe for everyone with food allergies requires research, time and planning. But it's hard to know what's safe, especially when there are confusing labeling and sometimes unclear manufacturing practices. In addition to navigating grocery stores allergy-safe snack foods aisles can also be tricky. We look forward to educating and providing helping tips navigating through our food system on how to be more safe when shopping and dining out. ➡️HOSTED ON IGTV LIVE AND FACEBOOK LIVE with @lorelynmartin .
