Invention No. 2 in C Minor, BMV 773 by J. S. Bach This is the second of Bach's Two-Part Inventions, BMV 772-786 in C Minor. This short and fundamentally polyphonic piece was initially a bit tricky, trying to figure out the composition of many tiny trills and such. However, I did learn a lot with its technicality, and it sounds pretty cool when you hear a subject in one hand returning only seconds later in the other hand. Simply put, every pianist should learn Bach. I also want to play this on a harpsichord, if I find one. Thanks for watching/listening. Jan. 18 2026
