Authorities rescue 2,700 in human trafficking raid

Authorities in the Philippines have rescued nearly 3,000 alleged human traffic victims. Police raided a commercial building south of Manila in a bid to crack down on cyber-crime syndicates. It’s believed foreign nationals were lured to the country with the promise of employment. Many have been repatriated to their home countries as investigations continue.
