The damage of Princess Ivy is divided into 3 parts, one is the vine itself, the second is the burst of flower, and finally the scattering of the petals. I was considering how to use this Wave Cannon to maximize the damage a long time ago. As seen in the video, even if the vines bloom less than 8 flowers, they have already dealt a fatal attack on boss-level enemies. In fact, I've tried to take down every boss on this stage in a matter of seconds with just 4 flowers, the right timing, and swift movement. After doing several tests, I believe that in order to achieve the maximum damage, it is not the closer the better, but the opposite; it is best to keep a certain distance before launching. Only in this way can more flowers bloom on the vine, and then you can move yourself close to the enemy so that the residual hitbox of the vine itself can touch the enemy and at the same time make the bud bloom (explode). Finally, let the petals fall on the enemy to do additional damage, thereby drawing out the potential high power of Princess Ivy, which is a real fatality.
