How to Insert Disc into PS5 (Horizontal and Vertical)

In this video, I’ll show you how to properly insert a disc into your PlayStation 5, whether you're using the original PS5, the PS5 Slim, or the PS5 Pro with a disc drive. No matter if your console is placed vertically or horizontally, the method remains the same. Understanding the position of the disc drive is key to inserting the disc the correct way. I’ll walk you through the orientation of the disc so you know which side should be facing in. Unlike older consoles where the disc often goes in with the label side facing up, the PS5’s disc reader is positioned differently. When inserting the disc, make sure the artwork is facing the bulk of the console—this applies in both vertical and horizontal setups. Finally, I’ll show you how to eject the disc correctly. The eject button is located on the right side of the console, above the power button, and is marked with the standard eject icon. By following these steps, you'll avoid any damage to your discs and ensure smooth operation every time you use your PS5.
