It is also popular in Jharkhand and parts of Eastern Uttar Pradesh. Litti is a dough ball made up of whole wheat flour and stuffed with Sattu (roasted chickpee and barley flour) mixed with herbs and spices and then roasted over coal or cow dung cakes or wood hen it is tossed with much ghee. .itti is eaten with Choka, which is a mixture of nashed eggplant, tomato, and potato. It is called harta also in some places. In this video, I am ooking Litti Choka in a purely authentic way. Ingredients: Stuffing One cup of roasted gram flour (Sattu), A medium-sized onion, 4-5 cloves of garlic, 3-4 green chilies, & a small bunch of coriander leaves, a half teaspoon of nigella seeds, a half teaspoon of carom seeds, a teaspoon of cumin seeds, a tablespoon of dry fenugreek leaves(Kasoori Methi), and 1 teaspoor of the pickle spice mix. Salt as per taste, two tablespoons of uncooked mustard oil. Litti Shell 2 cups of wheat flour, a pinch of salt, and baking soda. Chokha 4-5 cloves of garlic vertically sliced, an eggplant hat is weighing 500 grams approx, 2 medium-sized omatoes, A large-sized boiled potato, a chopped medium-sized onion, 2-3 clove of garlic, green chilie s per taste, and a bunch of coriander leaves, salt a er taste and 2 teaspoons of mustard oil. Green Coriander Chutney a bunch of coriander leaves, 7-8 cloves of garlic, 4-5 green chilies, and salt as per taste. Red Tomato-Chili Chutney A roasted medium-sized tomato, 4-5 whole red chil, 7-8 cloves of garlic, and salt as per taste. Mustard Chutney 1 tablespoon of black mustard seeds, 7-8 cloves of garlic, salt as per taste, and 3-4 tablespoons of rogurt. Clarified butter to dip Litti, lemon, onion slices and oriander leaves to garnish.
