USA’s Amusement Parks - Six Flags Over Georgia - A Quick Guide Six Flags Over Georgia was Six Flags second park opening in 1967 just west of Atlanta, Georgia. This is a large theme park with many roller coasters, dark rides, flat rides, water rides and the Hurricane harbour water park. The Park is home to Goliath, a terrain B&M hyper coaster with a unique layout. Twisted Cyclone an RMC converted wooden coaster to a modern steel coaster with inversions. This 290 acre park uses the terrain well, many of the rides use the beautiful landscaping and tall shady trees.
