As Americans look with hope towards the end of the COVID-19 pandemic, Latino leaders have worked tirelessly to ensure our communities are adequately informed about the COVID-19 vaccine and that our families have equitable access to these life-saving treatments. Yet, in early 2021 less than a third of Latinos reported that they would elect to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, and many pointed to their lack of trust in the healthcare system as their reasons behind vaccine hesitancy.
