Ezio infiltrated the Castel, where he witnessed the murder of Rodrigo by his son, Cesare. Cesare forced the location of the Apple of Eden from Lucrezia, and hurried to retrieve it from Basilica di San Pietro. However, Ezio successfully reached the Apple before Cesare, and subsequently used it to demilitarize the remnants of Cesare's army. In one last battle, Ezio and his fellow Assassins fought Cesare and his surviving men at the gates of Rome. Cesare was arrested by Fabio Orsini by the order of the new Pope, though not before commenting that he would not be in chains for long and that he would never be killed by any man. Memory 2: An Apple a Day (Part 2 of 2) Task: Beat Cesare to the Apple of Eden. Full Sync: Do not kill anyone. Memory 3: The Apple of Eden Task: Escape from the Vatican with the Apple of Eden. Full Sync: Do not lose health. Memory 4: Demilitarization Task: Destroy Cesare’s Roman army, leaving him with little support to wage a counterattack. Memory 5: Seeing Red Task: Break up Cesare’s meeting with the Cardinals to ensure he does not successfully petition for aid. Memory 6: All Roads Lead To... Task: Join the other Assassins to confront Cesare and his last remaining followers. WARNING NOTE: For sake of saving time and keeping the videos as short as possible some parts are speedup, since the game is a bit slow pace in some parts and not to waste viewing time getting to one point to the other. Also the side quest collectibles such as feathers and treasures will not be shown on the main walkthrough but will be on the EXTRAS videos at the end of the playthrough.
