With Softball games on hold for Spring break, we hop in the Jeep and take a quick overnight trip to the beach. Just outside of Savannah Georgia is Tybee Island. Small town on a little island, only a few hours from our home in middle Georgia. We ride our Mountain Bikes around town, walk the beaches, drive the Jeep, and tell a few stories, unfortunately we didn’t bring the Kayak this time, but I shared some photos from a previous trip to little Tybee. Leaving the beach we stop to see some Alligators at the crab shack and we drive by Fort Pulaski. In Savannah, we eat lunch at the Pirate House, then drive around downtown Savannah. We even stop by Chippewa Square and show the infamous filming location of the Forest Gump bench. I referenced us being in the background when they filmed Baywatch a few years ago, they were doing a beach obstacle course. We didn’t stay and watch much, they also filmed SpongeBob while we were here, and another ww2 era movie that I haven’t seen… *edit - the ww2 movie is devotion, it came out on 2022. I haven’t seen it yet, I really don’t watch much tv. This is not my usual Jeep video or even a softball video. It’s something new and different. This is something we do quite often but I’ve never filmed it before. More of a travel/vacation video.
