Chapter 27: Empire and Expansion

This video covers America's foreign policy from 1865 to 1909. We discuss the causes of American Imperialism as well as the Spanish American War and it's effects. We end the video with an introduction to Theodore Roosevelt and his foreign policy. This video marks the end of Unit 6 of APUSH, but Unit 7 will pick up where we left off with Theodore Roosevelt; however, we'll focus on his domestic agenda. This video is Chapter 27 in the American Pageant.
